• Use 4 level scoops per 100 ml (for the face and neck). Place the alginate mask powder in a rubber bowl. Add 100-120 ml of room temperature water and mix with a spatula. Start by adding about half of the water and mix quickly. Then add the remaining water and stir more slowly until the mixture reaches a thick, glaze-like consistency. Apply the mask in a thick, even layer. Work quickly and ensure smooth edges to facilitate easy removal. Apply over the eyes, eyebrows, and lips as well, if the client is comfortable and not claustrophobic (make sure the nostrils are open). Leave the mask on for 10-20 minutes until it hardens to a rubbery texture. Carefully remove the mask using your fingers or a spatula, starting from the forehead and along the hairline. Secure the skin and peel the mask off in one section. Gently wipe away any remaining mask particles with damp cotton pads. Follow with your usual skincare routine.
