What is the purpose of nail primer? The nail surface is smooth, and so is acrylic, so acrylic requires something that will help it seep in to help it adhere. The coating being applied is called the adherent. The surface is called the adherand. Primer-works like double-sided tape. A manicure product applied to natural unpolished fingernails prior to applying polish or artificial enhancements. It works as both a cleaning agent and an adhesive. As well as having chip free, stunning nails for two to three weeks after application, you may also find that the Bluesky Nail Gel Polish prevents your natural nails from breaking giving you a great base for your next manicure! Bluesky Gel Polish cures under UV and LED Lamps. The curing times differ depending on the type and power of the lamp. For 36W UV Lamps you should allow 2 minutes for each layer to cure. For 3W LED Lamps, you should allow 1 minute for each layer. For 12W LED Lamps and above you should allow 30 seconds for each layer to cure correctly. Application You will need: Shine Wipes, (2 Free ones included) Base Coat, Colour Coat, Top Coat Prep: Remove cuticle and file nails. Clean: Cleanse nails with a FREE Shine Wipe. Base: Apply Bluesky Base Coat and cure. Colour: Apply your chosen Bluesky Colour and cure. Apply two coats for extra depth. Top: Apply Bluesky Top Coat and cure.
